Fall in Vermont

When Vermont's leaves burst into vibrant color, Stratton’s Harvest Fest brings flannels and Fall cheer to the Village with endless family fun. Enjoy live music, scenic lift rides, peak fall foliage, and delicious food options along with the season finale of mountain biking, scenic lift rides and golf.

Take a ride up the gondola for the best views in the state. From the summit, hike to the Stratton fire tower, which marks the true summit of Stratton Mountain and the crossing of the Long and Appalachian Trails. From the top of the Fire Tower, you will find 360-degree views, leaving you awestruck with Autumn aspects. Ride through the trees in the Stratton Bike Park, tee off into fall foliage at the golf course, or simply kick your feet up and listen to the music of Saints & Liars for Stratton's annual HarvestFest celebration. Tickets are limited. Please purchase in advance.

Experience Vermont’s scenic fall foliage from the best seat in the state. See a new perspective of colors from above the trees and atop southern Vermont’s highest peak with a scenic lift ride to close celebrate the fall season.

Stratton Bike Park
Stratton’s Mountain Bike Park is accessed by the American Express six-passenger lift. Fanning from mid-mountain, the terrain is family-friendly, offering beginner, intermediate and advanced trails. Close out the season with us for our final weekend of mountain bike lift operations.

UTV Mountain Tours
Take a tour to the summit side-by-side with a friend or family member with a Stratton UTV Tour. Jump in and get ready to drive as you'll begin your adventure in the Sun Bowl and take the winding mountain routes up to the summit in your UTV.

Tee of into fairways of fall foliage with us this long weekend. Take in the stunning views from the Stratton Golf course, and enjoy the final weekend of play under red, yellow and orange hues.

Hiking In Vermont
Hike amongst the foliage on one of our many designated hiking trails this fall. Take a flat winding path to enjoy the colors up close, hike to the summit to get a variety of scenic vantage points, or choose the path to the Fire Tower for 360 degrees of famous fall foliage.

Saturday, October 7

Brewfest & Chili Cook-Off
Enjoy live music while sampling local Vermont beers, ales, lagers and ciders then put your taste buds to the test and help us crown the 2023 Mountain Chili Cook-off Champion on Saturday.

Savor the flavors of your favorite brews at Stratton's annual Brewfest. Sample Vermont's finest craft ales, lagers, porters, sours, ciders and more. While you sip and kick back for the weekend, enjoy live music from Dave Dominick, The Commonheart and the Amish Outlaws on an outdoor stage in front of scenic Fall foliage. Saturday's Brewfest will run from 12PM to 6PM, with doors at 11:30AM and the last pours at 5:30PM. Crown a champion at the annual Chili Cookoff by sampling a platter of chili flavors and voting for your favorite. Kick your feet up, it's Brewfest and Fall Foliage season in Vermont.

Tickets are limited, and required to enter the venue. Please purchase in advance. Dogs are not permitted in the event venue. Pop-up tents and umbrellas are not permitted at any outdoor event.

All guests are required to purchase an admission ticket, with option to add on chili sampling and beer sampling.

Local Farmer's Market

The Stratton Mountainside Farmer's Market takes place every other Weekend in July and August in the Stratton Courtyard. Come eat dinner in the Village and browse the Mountainside Farmer's Market from 2pm-6pm (5/27, 7/1, 7/2, 7/15, 7/29, 8/12 & 8/26), complete with local vendors, makers, musicians and more from the local Vermont community. After the Mountainside Farmer's Market concludes, stick around with the family for Coca-Cola Movie Night in the main base area.

Stroll The Stratton Village
The Stratton Village will be colored with Fall cheer and entertainment for HarvestFest Weekend on Saturday, October 7 from 12–6pm. Join us for Themed performances, Stilt walkers, Bubble show, Glitter tattoos, Fall mask creation station, Pumpkin decorating, Swing Photobooth and Warm cider.

Start Making Sense - October 8
The outdoor stage is set for live music by Start Making Sense during Stratton Mountain's annual HarvestFest Weekend. The musicians in this 7-10 piece Talking Heads Tribute take pride in faithfully recreating the music of Talking Heads entire career.
