Visual Artists, there’s ONE MONTH left to join SF Open Studios at Intersection!

ArtSpan’s SF Open Studios (SFOS), a beloved annual tradition since 1975, is a citywide initiative for artists to promote their work and engage directly with residents, tourists, and fellow creatives.

This year, Intersection for the Arts seeks artists to present their work at our space, located at 1446 Market Street, during SFOS on November 4 & 5, 2023. This event is an incredible opportunity to sell work, promote your art practice, and network with visitors.

Why exhibit at Intersection for the Arts during SFOS? If you don't have a private studio or feel uncomfortable welcoming the public into your space, we provide a safe, highly-regarded venue to exhibit your work alongside other local artists. Intersection will not collect a commission on your sales.

Interested artists should submit the following via email to [email protected]:

 - A Google Drive link to 5-10 high-resolution images (name/title of the image should include your name and dimensions of the piece)

 - An artist statement and a short description (2-3 sentences) of your vision for installing artwork in the space (taking into consideration that holes may not be made in the walls)

 - Indicate if you would like to utilize a 10’x2’ table (provided by Intersection) and whether it will be necessary to be positioned next to a wall

SFOS Participants must register as ArtSpan Members and register for SF Open Studios.

Basic Registration Deadline: October 1

For questions about applying to join Intersection's group site for SF Open Studios, please contact Intersection’s Space Manager, Sloane Larsen, at [email protected].

For questions about registering for SF Open Studios, please contact ArtSpan staff at [email protected].
