Gov. Justice appoints Lyndsey Matschat as judge for Twenty-Fourth Family Court Circuit serving Berkeley and Jefferson count

CHARLESTON, WV – Gov. Jim Justice has appointed Lyndsey Matschat, of Martinsburg, WV, to the Twenty-Fourth Family Court Circuit, which serves Berkeley and Jefferson counties. She fills the vacancy created by the retirement of The Honorable Judge Sally Jackson.

Matschat has dedicated her professional life to public service, most recently in the Jefferson County Prosecutor’s Office.

She earned her undergraduate degree from Shepherd University and her law degree from Penn State University.

Matschat is also active in her community, serving on several non-profit boards around the Eastern Panhandle.?
