Jazz: Summit Stars Student Showcase

The Summit Stars Student Showcase features, 34 top jazz students from around the world. This performance is the culmination of the mentorship and study from the Summit: July 9 – 15. Tickets: Adults $10 and Students $5. Student discounts are available.

The Joel and Cindy Revzen Concert Talks with Désirée Elsevier

Join us this summer for a new series of pre-concert talks. “The Joel and Cindy Revzen pre-concert talks with Désirée Elsevier” will enchant, elevate, and expand the music experience. The talks will be held on Fridays at 5:45pm- 6:00pm in the Classical Tahoe Ricardi Pavilion, before the July 21, July 28, and Aug 4 orchestra concerts. After the talks, enjoy a picnic or drink at the Classical Tahoe bar before the 7:00pm concert.

These events are open to all Friday Pavilion concert ticket holders.

About Désirée Elsevier

New York native, Désirée Elsevier is a principal violist in our Classical Tahoe orchestra and was a full-time member of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra from 1987-2021. She also curates her own livestream concert talk series “Désirée’s Salon” in conjunction with broadcasts of the MET Opera Live in HD.

Family Day: Concert and Music Makers Faire

July 30 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Light your child’s imagination and share in the joy of music at our Family Day, created in partnership with the Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum. During this day, children will be able to participate in hands-on art creation and interact one-on-one with Classical Tahoe orchestra musicians.

1pm – 2pm: Music Maker Faire
