TUESDAY JULY 5, 2022

FOURTH OF JULY
What a great turnout for the Parade.
Thank you to all the elected officials, police, fire, the Rumble Drum Corps, VFW, all the companies represented and all the other walkers that participated.
The kids and adults certainly got their fill of candy.

FIREWORKS!!!
What a blast!
The new venue turned out to be the perfect place for this year's show.
Wald & Company put on an incredible show.
The trees to the south and north perfectly framed the fireworks display.
The blowout in the middle is just the teaser for the finale.
Thank you to Pam Burnham for compiling the music leading up to the fireworks display and the music accompanying the display.
A special thank you to Anna O'Renick who performed a stirring rendition of the National Anthem just as the fireworks started.
Thank you to Mark O'Renick for assisting with the sound system and helping put everything away in the dark.

Thank you again to the Police, Fire and Explorer presence who did everything from help with the sound system, to park cars and then direct traffic.

This was truly a team effort.

NATIONAL DAYS IN JULY
JULY 5th,
National Bikini Day
National Workaholics Day
National Apple Turnover Day
National Graham Cracker Day -
When I was growing up, Mom would make cakes from scratch and would always have extra icing left over.
We would take the extra icing and put it between two pieces of graham crackers.
These days, everything comes in a can or box.
So, to remember those special moments, I buy a can of chocolate fudge frosting and a box of graham crackers and make my own graham cracker cookies.
Thanks Mom.

COMMUNITY GARDEN
The Garden is sold out.
Thank you to all who are renting space and thank you to those volunteers who are cutting grass and maintaining the weeds.
Keep the good work on your beautiful garden.
