Boost Your Borrowing

Great news! Starting June 1, we're turning up the heat by boosting your borrowing options for a more enjoyable Summer at the Library!

We are dropping the checkout limit on DVDs. Now, you can take home as many DVDs as you like at one time, up to the total item checkout limit. You can place holds on up to 25 DVDs at a time. Gear up for a movie marathon this summer and enjoy the world of cinema to your heart's content.

We are removing the checkout limit for Readalong items in our collection. Now you can borrow as many as you want. Readalongs are unique books that have a built-in audio player. Kids can listen to the story while they read, making it a fun and engaging way to improve literacy skills.

We're also changing our Sizzler WiFi2Go items to regular items. This change will help speed up the holds queue, so you can get your hands on these items even quicker.

Find Read-Alikes

NoveList Plus and NoveList K-8 Plus connect readers of all ages to their next book by making recommendations for what to read next with read-alikes.

NoveList Plus suggests titles that are 'just like' other titles. If you've finished a great book, log into NoveList Plus and find great read-alikes. There are also read-alikes for authors and series.

NoveList K-8 Plus is all about books specifically for younger readers, Kindergarten through 8th grade. It helps kids find books that are just right for their reading level and interests and allows readers to use a favorite author or title as a template to locate other authors and titles of interest.
